Dr Nicholas Ryan, MD, Thermo VG Scientific

Dave Sykes the chairman of UK SAF opened the meeting and showed the revised meeting agenda. Dr Sykes introduced Dr Ryan the MD ofVG- Thermo who welcomed the delegates to the meeting. Dr Ryan talked about the formation of the Thermo-VG group and also explained about the loss of the VG Microtec name, and but stated that this will be kept as a brand name.
