Welcome and Introduction
Dr Nicholas Ryan, MD, Thermo VG Scientific
Dave Sykes the chairman of UK SAF opened
the meeting and showed the revised meeting agenda. Dr Sykes
introduced Dr Ryan the MD ofVG- Thermo who welcomed the
delegates to the meeting. Dr Ryan talked about the formation
of the Thermo-VG group and also explained about the loss
of the VG Microtec name, and but stated that this will be
kept as a brand name.
